Our logo and the beautiful house drawings that is all over our new website and social media were inspired by the work of Brazilian artist Mariana Tassinari - www.marianatassinari.com.
Mariana has a degree in Fine Arts and had a brief passage at the Faculty of Architecture, which she considers essential in shaping her work. Since the beginning of her career, she has been researching photography and its various aesthetic possibilities. Drawing, a legacy of his passage through architecture, is recurrent and unfolds in multiple scales, sometimes taking the three-dimensional space and recently materializing itself in objects. She explains her work as invention of places “that exist in a timeless time - that never existed - but that can be visited to become part of each one's history." Her house drawings are a perfect representation of the House of Canfield’s aesthetics, minimal and modern, with a direct link to architecture. Together with the designer Maru Widen - www.maruwiden.com - we created a digitalized version of her drawings and incorporated in our visual communication.
